There’s nothing more exciting than discovering amazing new products (except maybe Oreo ice cream?). Here are three beauty secrets in my makeup bag this month.

- The Lumene Bright Now Blur Line & Pore Minimizer has quickly become a morning must-have for me. I put it on my face after moisturizer and before foundation to erase my pores and, seriously, this stuff is crazy good. It feels rich and silky when it’s being applied and creates a smoother finish to my face makeup.
- I’ve been using the Borghese Perfetta Radiante Perfecting Makeup in the shade Avorio and am extremely happy I discovered this foundation while working on a story for Divine Caroline. It lasts all day on my oily skin without needing frequent powder touchups. This and the Pore Minimizer mentioned above make a great pair.
- Finding a great lip gloss is not easy for me — I typically prefer lipsticks or lip stains — but the Nyx Cosmetics Mega Shine Lip Gloss in Beige has made me believe in lip glosses again. It smells amazingly sweet, doesn’t feel sticky (my lip gloss pet peeve) and leaves a lasting sheen. Though I have this product in the color “Beige,” it’s definitely more mauve on my lips.
