Need new glasses but HATE standing in a store trying on pair after pair while taking awkward selfies? Yeah, me too. But that’s the exact moment when Warby Parker can save the day.

Warby Parker Glasses Home Try ON

Warby Parker is an online retailer that offers prescription eyeglasses starting at $95. The best part? You can try on five pairs at home for free for five days.

A Little Background…

I discovered I needed glasses in college when I found myself struggling to read the whiteboards during class. Since then, I’ve worn my glasses mostly at home when watching TV and while driving. A recent trip to the eye doctor made me face the reality that my vision is quite a bit worse than when I first got my glasses. Now needing a stronger prescription, what fun is it to stick with the same frames I’ve had for years when I’m updating the lenses anyway? 😉 I’d heard great things about Warby Parker’s selection, pricing and, most importantly, its home try-on program, so I decided to give it a shot.

How Warby Parker Works

It’s actually pretty simple! You can start by taking this quiz to see which frames are recommended for you based on things like your face shape and style preferences. Once you’ve narrowed your options to five, Warby Parker will send them to you so you can try them on at home for five days. This is game-changing. Instead of trying to make a decision in a store, you have a chance to wear options around and see how you like them in your everyday life. This also makes it super easy to show them off and get the opinions of your friends and family.

Once your try-on period is over, you simply send back the frames, add your favorite pair to your cart and upload your prescription at checkout.

The Warby Parker Frames I Picked

I selected five frames based on my quiz results and picked a variety, knowing that a lot of these styles come in different colors. So, for example, I knew if I liked the style of Louise (which I got in black) but the color of Jane (which I got in pink) I could purchase Louise in pink.

Of course, you should pick your five frames based on what feels right to you. Go with your gut and what you think you’ll like but don’t be afraid to have fun with your selections.
