Here’s my really real experience with Rent the Runway…
My fiance and I had the opportunity to go to the Purple Gala celebrating the Minnesota Vikings and the team’s new stadium for Chase’s work — a black tie optional event. When I heard that, I knew immediately I had nothing to wear. And not in the *looking at a million dresses in my closet while saying, “I have nothing to wear,” under my breath* kind of way. Rent the Runway sent the dress in my size and in a second size for free to ensure the perfect fit. I’ve also heard from friends who have rented dresses before that if neither dress size you order works with your body, the Rent the Runway team will overnight you another option in time for your event.
So, I wore the dress to the gala last night, felt amazing in it and then dropped off both dresses at UPS on my way home for free. That’s it… No dry cleaning required, AND I didn’t have to splurge on a dress I’ll only wear once. How awesome is that? I’m already plotting my next excuse to rent.
