I wear my favorite LBD at least once a week (at least) because it can be worn pretty much anywhere. To the grocery store? Yep! On date night? Absolutely! And that, my friends, is the beauty of the little black dress.
Little Black Dress for Day
In this post, I talked about how wearing a sundress to the grocery store makes me feel more confident — well, this dress has become one of my go-tos for errands. The stretchy material makes it super comfortable, while the off-the-shoulder style keeps it trendy.
For the daytime look, I paired the dress with my go-to sandals from Target. I love the versatility of the silvery gold color! The ones I’m wearing are sold out, but I also like this pair that’s the same color. My Michael Kors bag is one of my most-used bags because it’s large enough to tote my laptop and everyday essentials.
Little Black Dress for Night
The midi length of this dress adds a bit of elegance that’s perfect for a night out. It doesn’t matter where we go on date night, I often turn to this dress. I’m sure Chase is tired of me asking, “Is it weird if I wear this dress out again?” (True story — happens all the time!)
For night, I love pairing this dress with strappy black heels and I often turn to a clutch like this one from Kate Spade when I don’t need to carry a lot with me.
